Grandmaster Clocks
Grandmaster clocks receive UTC-based time information from an external time reference, most commonly a GNSS/GPS satellite source. The GNSS/GPS receiver and a Precision Time Protocol (PTP) engine deliver a PTP service over Ethernet ports downstream to other clocks.
